Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to add?
Water and tequila. Nothing else.
You do not need lime juice, strawberries, fruit juice, simple syrup, triple sec or additional sweetener. Everything needed for the margarita is already in the pouch.
Will it work in a Ninja Slushi?
Yes.
Both Zero Sugar and Cheat Day were developed for Ninja Slushi machines, commercial frozen drink machines and blenders. Follow the water and tequila ratios printed on the pouch for the best texture.
Can I make it in a blender?
Yes.
Follow the blender directions printed on the pouch, including the recommended amount of ice.
Why does it freeze properly?
Frozen margaritas are harder to formulate than most people realize. Too much alcohol, too little body or the wrong balance can leave you with a thin drink, hard ice or a machine that keeps spinning.
We have already built the proper balance into the mix. Follow the directions and it works.
Have LiquidZERO frozen margaritas actually been served in restaurants?
Yes.
LiquidZERO frozen margarita formulations have been used to serve more than 100,000 frozen margaritas in restaurants, hotels, stadiums and other hospitality venues.
We adapted that professional experience into a simple mix for home frozen drink machines and blenders.
What is the difference between Zero Sugar and Cheat Day?
Zero Sugar
No sugar
No stevia. No monk fruit. A clean, restaurant-style margarita without a lingering sweetener aftertaste.
Cheat Day
Reduced sugar
Made with a small amount of cane sugar and allulose for a slightly richer, more traditional margarita profile.
Both formulas are complete mixes. Both are available in Classic Lime and Strawberry. Both are designed to produce smooth, restaurant-quality frozen margaritas when prepared according to the directions.
Which formula should I choose?
Choose Zero Sugar if you want no sugar, no stevia and no monk fruit.
Choose Cheat Day if you prefer a reduced-sugar margarita with a slightly richer, more traditional profile.
Either way, preparation is the same: add water and tequila, then slush or blend.
How many drinks does one pouch make?
One pouch makes approximately one-half gallon, or about eight frozen margaritas depending on serving size.
Does Strawberry require fresh strawberries or fruit juice?
No.
The strawberry flavor is already balanced in the mix. Simply add water and tequila.
What is the difference between Classic Lime and Strawberry?
Classic Lime delivers the bright citrus flavor and clean finish of a traditional restaurant margarita.
Strawberry adds natural strawberry flavor while maintaining the balance of a real margarita rather than tasting syrupy or candy-like.
Both flavors are available in Zero Sugar and Cheat Day.
Can I make it without alcohol?
Yes.
Follow the alcohol-free directions printed on the pouch. You can also prepare the batch without tequila and add spirits directly to individual glasses.
Can I make one batch for guests who do and do not drink alcohol?
Yes.
Prepare the batch without tequila, then add tequila directly to the glasses of guests who want it. Everyone can enjoy the same frozen margarita without making two separate batches.
Can I add more tequila?
Start with the ratio printed on the pouch.
Too much alcohol can prevent a frozen drink from reaching the proper texture. For a stronger margarita, add extra tequila directly to the finished glass rather than changing the full batch.
Can I use another spirit?
Tequila produces the intended margarita flavor and freezing characteristics, so that is what we recommend.
Other spirits may work but can change both the flavor and texture.
What is the complimentary sampler offer?
Order three or more frozen margarita pouches and we will include a complimentary two-serving LiquidZERO On-the-Rocks Margarita sampler jar. No coupon code is required.
What if I do not get the results I expected?
Follow the directions printed on the pouch and your margaritas should freeze smoothly and pour properly.
If something does not turn out as expected, contact us. Your purchase is protected by the LiquidZERO Happiness Guarantee and we will make it right.
